Shriram City Union Finance clocked volume of 81,000 shares by 13:45 IST on BSE, a 143.99-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock rose 0.15% to Rs 1,101.65.
Madras Cements notched up volume of 9.75 lakh shares, a 114.24-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock rose 1.12% at Rs 249.10.
Aditya Birla Nuvo saw volume of 4.23 lakh shares, a 46.59-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 9,000 shares. The stock rose 0.19% to Rs 1,082.
Eicher Motors clocked volume of 1.35 lakh shares, a 29.35-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock rose 2.45% to Rs 3,651.90. The stock hit a record high of Rs 3,684 in the intraday trade today, 27 May 2013.
Britannia Industries saw volume of 2.96 lakh shares, a 22.82-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 13,000 shares. The stock galloped 16.32% to Rs 668.20. The stock hit a record high of Rs 680 in the intraday trade today, 27 May 2013, after net profit jumped 65.7% to Rs 87.85 crore on 13.5% growth in net sales to Rs 1486.63 crore in Q4 March 2013 over Q4 March 2012. The Q4 result was announced after market hours on Friday, 24 May 2013.
