Volumes jump at Infotech Enterprises counter, Havells India, Novartis India, Magma Fincorp and Jet Airways (India) are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE today, 30 May 2013.
Infotech Enterprises clocked volume of 50.29 lakh shares by 13:36 IST on BSE, a 4029.77-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock lost 0.92% at Rs 166.50.
Havells India notched up volume of 46.63 lakh shares, a 102.98-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 45,000 shares. The stock rose 1.81% to Rs 721.
Novartis India saw volume of 1.87 lakh shares, a 16.73-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock rose 2.99% to Rs 573.
Magma Fincorp clocked volume of 8.40 lakh shares, a 14.28-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 59,000 shares. The stock rose 1.13% to Rs 98.60.
Jet Airways (India) saw volume of 3.20 crore shares, a 11.44-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 28.05 lakh shares. The stock lost 0.11% at Rs 534.50.
A block deal of 1.59 crore shares was struck on the counter at Rs 525 per share in opening trade on BSE today, 30 May 2013. Another block deal of 1.59 crore shares was executed on the counter at Rs 527.65 per share in opening trade on BSE today, 30 May 2013. The block deals saw a staggering 36.8% equity stake of Jet Airways (India) changing hands.
Tail Winds, a promoter of Jet Airways (India), is selling 43.17 lakh shares of the company representing approximately 5% of the total paid up equity share capital of today 30 May 2013 via Offer for Sale (OFS) through a separate window provided by the stock exchanges for this purpose. The floor price for the offer for sale has been fixed at Rs 510.
